History
During the 2011–12 English Premier Ice Hockey League (EPIHL) season, the Bracknell Bees executed a massive bottom-up roster rebuild but narrowly missed out on postseason play. Following a disastrous prior campaign where the team finished dead last in the standings, head coach Gareth Cox and newly appointed player-assistant coach Lukas Smital overhauled the squad to restore local pride.
Patrick "Ricky" Skene (born 27 April 1982) played for 16 seasons in the United Kingdom, capturing eight championships. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he holds dual British and American nationality and represented England internationally from the U12 to U20 levels.
