Whilst studying for a Degree in Fashion, Promotion & Illustration I was asked to come up with a new logo and Jersey design for the team I played for, when all you needed was a pencil, paper and time... I had all three and no other players were studying a course like that!
We then began to design, cut and sew other custom ice hockey jerseys for teams and associations under the label SKENE Design.
We honed our skills and as our reputation grew so did we by offering Ice Hockey lifestyle apparel and performance wear under the name SKENE GAME-WORN Clothing which quickly just became known as GAME-WORN Clothing.
Sold throughout the World in pro shops and online to Hockey Players and Fans, who wanted to show the World they were GAME-WORN.
We were then asked to sell a private collection of Authentic Pro Jerseys. Thats when we noticed a serious problem. The second hand market is saturated with counterfeits and people are struggling to sell their authentic and game-worn jerseys for their true value to the right collectors and fans.
We became GAME-WORN Locker and decided to change the market for the better by offering a direct from source marketplace and post authentication service for the purest fans and collectors out there.
