In 1014 AD... The First "GAME-WORN" Artifact
King Malcolm II of Scotland was pursued by a fierce wolf in the Wood of Culbleun. A young Celt of the Isles, seeing his sovereign in mortal danger, wrapped his plaid around his arm to absorb the beast's fury, drawing his skene (dagger) to dispatch the wolf.
This was game-worn in its rawest, most historic form. Every fibre of that cloth bore the history of a history-altering conflict.
The celt's battle-scarred attire were locked securely inside the ancestral castle's charter chest. This Celt established our very first example of archiving historic clothing. Preserved forever.
