Driven by a lifelong passion for the colourful World of high octane sport I first laced up the skates and put a Hockey Sweater at age 5 and have always been fascinated by the story behind every team logo, their colours, their histories and the way their fans carry their teams with so much pride.
15 years later Whilst playing pro Ice hockey and studying for my Degree in Fashion Promotion & Illustration (an odd but beneficial mix for sure!) I began by drawing a logo for the team I played for with nothing more than pens, paper and time.
This soon led to designing, cutting, and sewing ice hockey jerseys for professional teams and associations under my label SKENE Design.
I expanded and 'we' then honed our skills in technical sportswear. As our reputation grew, we offered an exclusive, high-end lifestyle clothing range branded with the Wolf as a nod the heritage of the family name of Skene and named GAME-WORN Clothing for players and fans who demanded premium craftsmanship and wanted to show the World they wore the ultimate standard in the game.
From our heritage and experience, we recognised a critical threat facing the sports community. The secondary memorabilia market had become overrun by sophisticated fakes, altered jerseys, and forged paper documents that diluted team histories and broke the trust of true collectors.
Combining our knowledge in sportswear design and manufacture we set out to engineer a bulletproof solution with advanced cryptographic technology, we created an immutable system to protect sports legacies for fans forever.
